I like to the room is clean well-lit , bed is bit hard for my back but I live in a flood zone and this places within a mile from my home makes it easy for me to get there which is a help because I don't like living in my flood zone area
I had booked in a hurry and didn't do my usual due diligence. I got into town early and dropped off my luggage and turned on the AC. Noticed the room was extremely spartan but needed to get back out for other activities. Returned later that night and the room was warm and extremely muggy. So I called the front desk, thinking the AC wasn't working. They came up and told me that the AC has a motion detector sensor over the door and so it didn't run during the afternoon while I was gone. Now what didn't make sense is that the motion detector wouldn't be able to see me in my bed either. Sure enough, the room never got cold. Turns out that was probably for the best since the blankets were some of the thinnest I have ever seen. If I had been sleeping with someone, we would have been overheated since it was a full size bed and would have been forced to be touching. I can't remember the last time I had a full size bed in a hotel room. The bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable. Add to that there were no curtains so the bright lights from the car dealership next door so the room was also very bright. The chairs in the room were the hard plastic stackable kind. Nothing in this room said comfort. Nothing said relax.
Very clean, and very friendly staff. Very affordable, especially if you're staying a week or more, if you know what to expect... they do have mini kitchens, but NO utensils, pans, plates, etc. Not even a coffee maker. We brought our own stuff, though, and we were all set!
Next morning, I discovered the room did not have a hair dryer or shampoo. Again, I thought this was something all hotels do.
This was a bare bones room. It was not comfortable. It was not a place to relax. It wasn't even a place I could sleep.
I will say it was clean. That's the thing minimalistic will do for you, make it easy to clean.
Then the fire alarms started going off. Three different times. That does not help with getting a good night's sleep.
This will be our home away from home for some time. Much worth it.
Very cheap modern day Motel. Basic dorm room furniture. It maybe good if you are tired and need to pull off the road to rest. Not a place for couples or families. Kim, the manager and location are the only good I can report.
