- Only good thing was the cost, but even that will not cause me to return to this location in the future.
- Front Desk attendant, Angelina, was very rude!
Our stay was Nov. 3-5th. Confirm # 8854AAD366
I am hopeful I will receive communication from Motel 6 about this.
I am extremely disappointed in how this process has been handled.
- Air Conditioner was noisy forcing us to blow outside air in using fan only.
Upon check out I asked to speak to a manager about the late night disturbance as well as a screen shot I had from the Motel 6 website for a published rate of 64.99. The screen shot does include the date of our stay. I was told there was no one on the property that was authorized to handle my issue, that I would need to call back on Monday. During the next week I called multiple times and was always told the same thing, that know one was on the property who could handle my issue. Each time I called I specifically asked for Tejas Patel. The staff did inform me Mr. Patel had been given my information. On Saturday November 11th Mr. Patel did call me back. I presume this is because I stopped being as nice to the front desk staff and expressed my disappointment in my complaint not being addressed. Mr. Patel's call came in at 11:52 am on Saturday. I returned his call at 11:58am and left a voice mail that I would wait for his call. He never called me back. Therefore, I was forced to call him again. I called him yesterday Nov. 15th. He did take my call. After a lengthly discussion I was informed there is nothing he could do to compensate us for our late night wake up, the difference in our rate and the published rate or the fact that there is NO custom service in the fact that I was the one that had to repeatedly reach out to you company. He told me the employee had been written up and that was the best he could do about our disturbance. Mr. Patel later agreed to talk to the owner about my complaints. I received a voice mail from Mr. Patel this morning indicating they will provide me with a 15% discount on a future stay.
*I have not responded to this survey until now. I wanted to give the hotel the opportunity to do the right thing. I am in sales and customer service.
- Door had no weather stripping.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights while my wife was having surgery. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
We stayed here after evacuating Houston due the hurricane Harvey and the rooms were pleasantly clean. Basic but clean. Wish there would of been an iron and ironing board. The hotel is being renovated so beware because the outside may turn you off. We had a small 5-6 year old knock on our door around 11pm. He/she tried to twist the handle to get in. I peeped through the window and looked around but I think a parent quickly grabbed them as perhaps they wandered from their room. There was loud talking and arguing around midnight. I called the front desk immediately at both instances. Oh and let me not forget the toilet was enclosed with the shower and bath and you were seated so close to the left side wall while sitting that you actually had to maneuver to get toilet paper. Very smooshed in and uncomfortable.
We checked into our room with no problem. We were awoken that night by someone trying to get into our room. This went on for a while. I finally called the front desk from my cell phone. I was told to open the door & ask them to stop. This was close to 1:00 am. NO! The front office did come get the individuals. We went back to sleep and were later awoken by a call from the front office letting us know they had in fact given our room to someone else and it was a computer error. No clue what time this call was.
When we arrived at this location we were understood from the web page that the property was totally remodeled. A phone call to the location several days before arrival assured us there was a pool an it was use able. When we arrived we were denied access to the pool. One in the room we found the a/c did not work and the beds were so hard there was no way anyone could have slept on them. However the worst of it all was in the driveway. There were people sitting in their cars and just hanging around. I do not know if they were quest or not. The entire short time we were there one of us had to keep watch on our truck. People were looking in it and generally messing around it. At this point we were scared. We threw our belongings in the back of the truck and left. We went down the street to another Motel 6 and had to pay a lot more or a much smaller room. I was not a happy Motel 6 guest.
- Room was not clean.
