The hotel staff was the best I've ever dealt with at a Motel 6. The only problem I had was dirty sheets (crumbs and hair!) when I arrived. It was almost midnight by the time I went to bed and I was too tired to deal with the issue so I slept on top of the bed in my sleeping bag. I left a note for housekeeping and stopped by the front desk on my way out the next morning. Some of the towels were very stained (almost brown) although I could tell they were clean.
Room was clean and up keep of property was nice. Air conditioner in room was not working properly. Very loud and noisy so was unable to use. This made it somewhat uncomfortable for sleeping as it had become very warm in the room. Other than the air conditioner trouble it would have been a very comfortable stay. Left very early as we could not sleep because of it being so warm in room.
Kuddos: Room was remodeled and looked great! Front desk was super friendly and helpful.
I cancelled my next reservation.
Ugh: Towels were threadbare and stained. Gap in wall where air conditioner was installed let in bugs.
Very nice motel. Had a room next to Housekeeping. The first night an alarm went off just after midnight. It was not addressed satisfactorily until I got up and located where it was coming from and went to the front desk. Prior to that I was told they called the surrounding rooms and could not locate the source. Other than that, I was happy overall. Not sure the room was worth the charge the second night due to inflated rates for the football game in town.
The room had a nice modern style to it. I loved that it had hardwood panels instead of carpet. The beds were comfortable and clean. Only wish there had been continental breakfast, but for the price I definitely cannot complain.
