Last night they had 3 customers 12 dirty tables. My wife and I sat ourselves. We sat and sat we were looked at and ignored.We finally got up and left. I would close the doors before letting my business be run in the ground by people who obviously don't care. I would say Denny's you are slipping. Your new mascot that looks like a turd sums this trip up.
My sister and I just went to this location. My sister ordered onion rings and received hash browns. She told the waitress and she apologized then came back in a minute with a small plate and scrapped the hash browns off her plate at the table. (I have never seen this done at a restaurant). It made me wonder if they were going to serve them to another individual. Then I looked up and the waitress was coming out of the kitchen with food in her mouth. I asked for the manager since I thought this was really strange. She told us that she had asked the waitress to remove them from her plate since she didn't order them. I thought this was the strangest thing I have ever seen at a restaurant. I will never eat there again.
I will start by saying that I normally came here before and the service was excellent, I loved it. Tonight, however, was a very different story. My grandfather and I waited much longer than normal to be seated and to place our orders, the place had maybe five tables taken in the whole restaurant. We were very patient and I didn't speak out but only once and as politely as possible.
I got my food and I was immediately disappointed, the platter looked smaller than expected and had NO meat. Are you kidding me? That's the main part of the meal! How could you just FORGET to add the most important part of the meal I ordered? I brought it to the attention of the waitress. She came back with a HANDFUL of a different meat than what my meal had! Unbelievable.
While waiting for the waitress to come back with the most important part of my meal I found a hair in my food. That was my tipping point. I wonder if that's why you're not suppose to have your hair in a messy fashion while handling food? I said nothing about this. I politely finished eating, payed for the meal and then left. We even left a tip.
The waitstaff were ill-mannered; the waitress that served us had her hair in a mess, she was wearing sweatpants and an A+M tee shirt, and there was no indication on her that she worked there other than her pen pad. The other waitress was very rude, no eye contact, she used words like "yeah" "sure" "here" in place of normal polite dialogue.
Good food good service.. I was disappointed in the zesty nachos. Ordered a full order and instead the came out soggy and Luke warm.. ended up sending them back and getting a slam burger... it was very Good!
I had the best experience I've ever had at a Denny's here!! The food was good, the service was really good but the atmosphere was above awesome!! Mary Jane was my server this morning and her smile and laugh will light up your day even at the end of her 12 hour shift!! All the staff including the cooks and the manager were friendly and quick with a joke. Because of them and especially Mary Jane I will be back for sure. As an otr truck driver I see a lot of Denny's. This is by far the best one yet!! Good food, good service and good people.
I still can't believe that this happened, I did not expect this from a Denny's whatsoever. I will never go back to this location in fear of a similar experience the second time. Anybody that reads this should go to IHOP instead. Maybe there the employees actually payed attention when they trained for their food handlers license.
