Wednesday 12:00 pm – I retuned to the Cleaners to only be informed by the receptionist that I should have received a call on Tuesday because there had been a mishap with my dress.
Monday 12:00 pm – I dropped off a black/white Calvin Klein dress at the Graham location.
Great service and fantastic people. I have used them for years and will continue!
Disappointed in the customer service I received. I dropped off four dresses that were scheduled to be ready in 2 days. I went back 4 days after dropping them off and they couldn't find them. They had NO receipt showing I dropped them off. Luckily, I had the stub in my car. I sat there for 30 minutes before they found only two of the dresses. They asked me to come back in 2 days. When I went back they still weren't ready. Once again they asked me to come back later that afternoon. After a week I finally was able to pick up all four of my dresses. I will not be using this cleaners again.
Thursday 11:00am – I returned to the shop to see the damage that had been done to the dress. The polite sales associate, Annette, called the customer service representative, Donna, and told me that I could speak to her and get the proper answers. Donna informed me that this was a manufacturer’s issue, and that black/white clothing items are prone to bleeding throughout the material even with proper dry cleaning service. She made a clear statement that this was not their fault. She also said that I should take the time to return the dress to Calvin Klein since it was not the cleaner’s fault that the material bled. I then stated that the dress had been ruined while in their care, and that I would appreciate a refund of some sort. It was at this time that Donna told me that the cleaner’s service would also be taking a “financial loss” because they were not charging me for their services. She then said they would spot treat it, but there would be no guarantees. I told her that the dress was already un-wearable at that point, so they might as well try the spot treatment.
Here is my recent experience with Briarcrest Cleaners.
While the dry cleaning associate, Sylvia, was able to successfully spot treat the garment, I will not be returning to Briarcrest Cleaners for further services because of their unprofessional and curt customer service representative. I did not feel like a valued customer, and felt as if they were more focused on placing the blame on the manufacturer, rather than themselves.
Wednesday 2:00pm – I received a call from their customer service representative, Donna, informing me that the black dye had bled onto the stark white portions of the dress. They asked if I wanted to have the dress “re-cleaned” or returned as is.
