Needed an emergency fix on my steering, and they were knowledgeable, courteous and reasonably priced!!
-They didn't call me before they did the work (even though I was told when I dropped my car off that they would).
Honest service, good prices, no salesmen trying to put in a new engine when you just came in for an oil change
-I was never called when they were finished with my car. Based on how crowded their lot was and that I had said I wanted my car back as soon as possible, I would have assumed they would have called.
Overall, I was not pleased with this business and will not be returning.
-My car has a wheel lock that requires a key to remove the wheels. Instead of calling me to ask where I kept the wheel lock in my car they decided to dig through my console and glove compartment (getting my passenger seat greasy in the process) before they found it.
I had 1998 Pontiac on a business trip that was loosing coolant and finally would not start at my motel in College Station. I asked a Texas A & M professor for a recommendation about who to contact to work on my car. I was extremely vulnerable being from Oklahoma. The person I talked to immediately identified the likely problem and gave an immediate estimate. I was able to leave my car for a week and when I returned it was ready to go two days ahead of the goal. This modest shop gave me service as if I could turn into a regular customer. I rate them supreme in competence of problem identification, accurate estimate of cost projection if the problem they identified was correct, honest and open, and carring that my car be fully ready to drive. Bill up front is great and the mechanic went over everything he had done, showed me the defective parts, and recommended some other items that needed attention. The cost for their service was very fair as far as I am concerned. If I am in town again, I sure would turn to Olympic for any other auto service needs. They earned my highest rating by their performance.
