As a parent of a child going to Davila Middle school I am sad to report that I have worked prisons with nicer offenders than the principal of that school. One can only hope that she is soon fired and someone with morals and one that cares about education.
I was a student there and they only care about what you were and one of the principals there told me that I was going to end up in prison and told me if I was in a fight that another student started that she would send me straight to jail.
Staff is rude and unprofessional,. At s.f.a. The staff was very nice and never rude. Need to hire nicer staff especially at front window when you enter school.
I am a student at Davila Middle School and my experience was the best. Being at Davila as made me want to come to school more often,it's a great school everyone is very nice.All the teachers are the best.I can't wait for school to start so I can go back!!!!!!
It seems this school has a lot of bullying issues that it doesn't know how to resolve. My sister got 3 days detention 3 days suspension for a push that wasn't even her fault! Talk about a exaggerated punishment, especially considering they hadn't even viewed the tapes before giving the punishment. It has been resolved now, after my mom went to talk to the principle. More parent involvement can probably help bring change in how they approach issues like bullying. Other than that the eduaction seems good.
I have seen so many double standards since my son child has been going to that school, some students are forced to go by the rules with others wear and do what they like. That school is more like a prison I used to work for than a school for kids to learn. If all goes well hope to be home schooling my child before he ends up like the school he is going to, a prisoner in TDCJ-ID.
