This was a good dog park before. Recently they don't take care of it enough.
It's so nice to have a real dog park in town. If you're familiar with the one off of Park Ave you know it smells like something died there due to the sewage treatment plant nearby. That's why it was a pleasant surprise to find an inviting park that connects to one of my favorite walking trails. Beware of spiders and poison ivy in the surrounding woods, however the park itself is well manicured. Three separate areas, I'm assuming one for large breed dogs, one for small breed dogs as well as a common area in the middle. There are drinking stations for the pups, although the water is shut off Dec-Feb to prevent frozen pipes. Plenty of lighting, and nearby parking. Worth a visit, especially if you have a larger dog and live in the apartments nearby
Love the trail. The dog park has almost no shade, so it's kinda majorly hot in the summer for the dogs, but it is well maintained and my dogs love the agility equipment!
