I am getting ready to buy a home in the next year but BTU has helped me make the decision not to stay in Bryan. I will not buy my forever home to deal with BTU forever.

Why can't you leave a zero star review? This place is horrible. I have lived other places and paid many light bills but BTU is hands down the most expensive and they always have fees or hidden details that effect you in negative ways. I was told no when I request any form of upper management from a entry level employee then hung up on to only call right back into a supervisors phone. They have made mistakes and cut my lights in the past when my bill was paid and they have charged me an outrageous amount to find out it was their faulty meter but since I had already paid them the money I couldn't have it back and it had to go as a credit. (Either way it was used but to be lied to and refused to refund my money)

I am praying whatever they have keeping competition from coming in comes to an end. We deserve to have a choice from this terrible money hungry company.

No notice before shutting off service and if you get home after 5pm, you’re screwed.

I would like to know why my electricity slows down in the Summer during the times between 4pm - 2am? I can actually feel my a/c and fans slow down. This throttling down of of the electricity is causing my electric bill to go sky high. I HATE that my Summer bill is 3x higher. BTU is just a Money Grubbing Monopoly!!!!! BTW BTU your payment website is looks like a child set this up. The one star is for the payment site.

My meter went out to 5/2017 the result was in a utility bill that exceeded $900, according to website. The CS reps are very courteous they investigated my issue told me to look for new bill sent me a new bill via website $248. I paid it then June bill was $123 I was baffled but pleased I thought wow it must be an high energy-efficient meter with new wiring. Just got my new bill due 8/2017 $703. They failed to charge my electricity in July. Beware, lesson learned you can't trust website info, double check all bills throughly and hope to win the lotto. I asked for my account to be reviewed I only heard back from billing. I guess billing is the only position that reviewed my account. I've got 2 kids going back to school, moving soon and my husband has been short hours at work due to illness and lack of work. So they are willing to "work with me due to their error" my new bill will come out soon! I'm paying for usage that is too expensive for rental. BTU good service but lack of communication to customers is beyond unacceptable.

I started services and still have not received a bill. Tried to get them to send it to me, but I still can't get it. I had to call them just to figure out how much my first bill was, and still don't have a bill to pay.
