Great experience! Several people helped me find a couch for our daughter. One gentleman took the time to tape the box for me, and another help me load it in our car. Everyone was nice here, which was a relief after going to the other Walmart where no one helped me. Now I'm glad because I ended up here.Found a cool couch and TV stand we wanted to get her. All Walmarts should be this way.
Good for finding generic brand items that HEB may not have and electronics you can get 24/7 when Best Buy isn't open.
Love the Wal-Mart on Villa Maria and 2818 but only 1 thing to complain about is It's hot in there. The poor employees are sweating and fanning themselves to stay somewhat cool. But other then that it's a great store.
Anyway, back to Walmart. I also like having items shipped to this location because their pickup location is at the front of the store. At the other Walmarts, the pickup is located at the back, forcing me to walk throughout. Also, I've gone in to pick up an item after the pickup location has closed, and the store manager was nice enough to get my item for me. I've been to one of the other locations, told them I had an item shipped to them, and they literally told me to come back tomorrow. Every store is different, but I've enjoyed my interactions with most of the people who work at the Harvey Mitchell location.
The cleanest Walmart in Bryan, College Station, and having been to all of them many times, the best. We use their pharmacy which usually gets things right and is timely. Their fresh produce usually looks good, their bread fresh, as is their meat. I'd avoid the deli. They simply don't know how to cut meat and cheese. Also, I'd avoid the Subway; they simply don't know how to make sandwiches. Go to the Subway in the same shopping center around the corner; we've been there several times and they haven't made a poor sandwich yet.
Clean and Courteous. The new Pick Up option is extremely convenient. Just moved 30 miles out from work in College Station and that means shopping keeps me out longer than I prefer. With Pick Up, just order, choose day and time for pick up, then drive up. The little guy pulls your groceries out in a wagon and puts it in your car. The other benefit...saw a shirt I liked but when I went back to buy it, it was gone. Not at other two stores either. Don't bother going from store to store anymore, looking for the right size. Ordered it and picked it up two days later.
